ROTTERDAM – Maersk Line has added Rotterdam to the schedule of the L16 – St. Petersburg service. On 19 July, the ship Bomar Vanquish Rotterdam approached for the first time. The new Rotterdam service in Russia is doing in St. Petersburg as well as petrol Sport First Container Terminal (FCT).
The container shipping alliance 2M, of Maersk Line and MSC, has announced its new schedule on the Europe-Asia in May. Rotterdam’s position therein is greatly improved with an extra ‘first port of call’- and an extra charge postage or reverse-position on the routes with the largest ships. The Port Authority anticipates a significant growth in container volume of 2M.
